Overview of other assessment tasks:

  • Activities: problem-solving for business issues (lack of customer engagement, or health and safety concerns in the office), presenting solutions to problems to stakeholders, creating a questionnaire/survey for customer satisfaction in Google Forms, managing complaints and escalating to supervisor, self-assess their wellbeing, seek advice on work tasks, undertake a basic hazard inspection in the workplace and document office waste and electricity usage.

  • Create documents: formal business letter, internal business memorandum, basic fixed asset register and a business slideshow/presentation.

  • Writing Communications: Communicating with other staff members via simulated emails or online messages & seek feedback from supervisors about work.

  • Simulated role plays: (in approx. 5 units) Prepare meeting communication protocols, open meetings and participate in team meetings. Responses are made via audio or video upload.

Are there any requirements to start this course?

To undertake any of our courses you must:

  • be 18 years of age or older
  • not be currently residing in Australia on a student visa (subclass 500), and
  • have read the summary page of the student handbook.

You must also complete a short Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test.

What do I need to complete this course online?

You will require:
