State-by-State Breakdown:
- New South Wales (NSW): Training is recommended for 16+. Minors can’t serve alcohol without special permission.
- Queensland (QLD): No minimum age for RSA, but minors can only serve alcohol in non-adult entertainment venues.
- Victoria (VIC): Available to minors, but you must be 18 to serve.
- Australian Capital Territory (ACT): No minimum age for training, but under 18s can only serve in non-adult-only areas.
- Northern Territory (NT): Can complete RSA under 18, but the serving age is 16 years and 8 months (with special exceptions).
- South Australia (SA): Training is recommended for 17+, and you can’t serve until 18.
- Western Australia (WA): Minors can get an RSA, but need approval from the Director of Liquor Licensing to serve (minimum age 16+).
